tar -cvzf tarnm.tar dir|file
To extact tar file
tar -xvf tarnm.tar
To become super user on freeBSD6.4
Edit /etc/group
wheel:*:root,username
Save
Reboot
Use Putty
To show process details-1
#!/bin/sh
/bin/ps -eaf | grep -i "$@" | grep -v " grep -i";
To show process details-2
#!/bin/sh
/bin/ps -auxww | grep -i "$@" | grep -v " grep -i";
To change exiting user password
passwd -l username
tar -cvzf tarnm.tar dir|file
To extact tar file
tar -xvf tarnm.tar
To become super user on freeBSD6.4
